MY STORY
It All Started in Grandma’s Kitchen
I was seven years old when I first fell in love with cooking. My grandmother would let me stand on a wooden stool in her tiny kitchen, teaching me to knead dough and showing me that the secret ingredient in everything was love—and maybe a pinch more salt than the recipe called for.
Fast forward through culinary school, years in professional kitchens, and countless dinner parties, I realized something important: the best recipes aren’t just about perfect technique—they’re about bringing people together and creating memories that last long after the dishes are done.
That’s why I created BlingBite—to share recipes that work in real kitchens, for real people, with real busy lives.

BEHIND THE SCENES
A Peek Into My Kitchen
You’ll usually find me in my kitchen around 6 AM with a strong cup of coffee, testing a recipe for the third time because the glaze wasn’t quite right. My husband Mark is my official taste-tester (lucky him!), and our golden retriever Bailey is always nearby, hoping something falls on the floor.
When I’m not cooking, you’ll find me at farmers markets (I’m obsessed with heirloom tomatoes), reading cookbooks like novels, or planning our next food-focused vacation. Last year it was Italy. This year? Japan is calling my name.
I photograph every recipe myself using natural light and my trusty Canon—no fancy studio, just my kitchen counter and a lot of patience. Because I want you to see exactly what you’ll create.
