Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour, heat-treated
  • 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips
  • 1 cup baked brownie chunks, chilled and chopped
  • 23 tablespoons milk (optional, for thinning)

Instructions

  1. Remove cream cheese and butter from the fridge about 30 minutes before starting to soften.
  2. Heat-treat the flour by microwaving it in a microwave-safe bowl on high for 1 minute. Let cool completely.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, beat softened cream cheese and butter together with an electric mixer on medium speed until light and fluffy (about 2 minutes). Scrape down the sides.
  4. Add brown sugar, granulated sugar, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt. Beat again on medium-high until smooth and creamy (1-2 minutes).
  5. Sift in the cooled flour and cocoa powder. Mix on low speed until just combined.
  6. If the dip is too thick, add milk 1 tablespoon at a time, mixing after each addition until creamy and scoopable.
  7. Using a rubber spatula, gently fold in mini chocolate chips and chilled, chopped brownie chunks. Do not overmix.
  8. Taste and adjust salt, vanilla, or chocolate chips as desired.
  9. Optional: Chill in the fridge for 30 minutes for a thicker dip.
  10. Transfer to a serving bowl and garnish with extra brownie chunks or chocolate chips.

Notes

For best texture, use softened cream cheese and butter. Always heat-treat flour for safety. Chill brownies before chopping to keep chunks intact. Adjust consistency with milk as needed. For gluten-free or vegan adaptations, substitute flour and dairy ingredients accordingly. Serve with fruit, cookies, or pretzels. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4 days.
