A rich and smooth chocolate martini perfect for romantic evenings, combining chocolate liqueur, vodka, cream, and vanilla for a silky indulgence.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 oz (90 ml) vodka
  • 2 oz (60 ml) chocolate liqueur
  • 1 oz (30 ml) cream or half-and-half (dairy-free cream optional)
  • Β½ tsp vanilla extract
  • Ice cubes (enough for shaking and chilling)
  • Chocolate shavings or cocoa powder for garnish
  • Optional: 1 tsp chocolate syrup for drizzling inside the glass

Instructions

  1. Chill two martini glasses in the freezer for 5-10 minutes.
  2. Pour vodka, chocolate liqueur, cream or half-and-half, and vanilla extract into a cocktail shaker.
  3. Fill the shaker halfway with ice cubes.
  4. Secure the shaker lid and shake vigorously for 15-20 seconds until the outside is icy cold.
  5. Optionally drizzle chocolate syrup inside each chilled glass, swirling to coat the sides.
  6. Strain the martini mixture into the prepared glasses, dividing evenly.
  7. Garnish with chocolate shavings or a light dusting of cocoa powder.
  8. Serve immediately while cold and creamy.

Notes

Rinse and chill glasses before serving to keep the martini frosty longer. Use fresh ice to avoid off flavors. Adjust cream or chocolate liqueur to balance strength and sweetness. Shake vigorously but avoid over-dilution. For dairy-free, substitute cream with coconut or almond milk creamer.
