  • 1/2 cup (100g) granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup (240ml) whole milk
  • 1/2 cup (115g) unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup (175g) chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan with butter or non-stick spray.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together granulated sugar, eggs, milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract.
  4. Gradually pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients, stirring gently with a spatula. Do not overmix.
  5. Fold in the chocolate chips to the batter, ensuring even distribution.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top with a spatula.
  7. Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  8. Allow the bread to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring it to a cooling rack. Let it cool completely before slicing.
