A sweet, savory, and utterly irresistible pizza featuring creamy burrata, salty prosciutto, golden honey, and fresh basil. Perfect for date nights or casual dinner parties.

Ingredients

Scale
  • Pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1 ball fresh burrata cheese
  • Thinly sliced prosciutto
  • 12 tablespoons high-quality honey
  • Olive oil for brushing
  • Fresh basil leaves for garnish
  • Crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Flour for rolling out the dough

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 475Β°F (245Β°C). If using a pizza stone, place it in the oven while preheating.
  2. Lightly flour your work surface and roll out the pizza dough into a circle or rectangle, about ΒΌ inch thick.
  3. Transfer the dough to a sheet of parchment paper for easy handling.
  4. Brush the entire surface of the dough with olive oil, focusing on the edges for a golden crust.
  5. Carefully transfer the dough (still on the parchment paper) onto the preheated pizza stone or baking sheet.
  6. Bake the dough for 7-10 minutes, or until lightly golden and puffed up.
  7. Remove the pizza from the oven and tear the burrata into small pieces. Scatter them evenly across the crust.
  8. Add the prosciutto slices on top of the burrata, arranging them to cover the pizza generously.
  9. Drizzle honey over the pizza, focusing on the prosciutto and burrata.
  10. Return the pizza to the oven for another 5-7 minutes, until the burrata is melted and bubbly.
  11. Remove from the oven and let it cool for a couple of minutes. Sprinkle fresh basil leaves and crushed red pepper flakes over the pizza.
  12. Slice and serve immediately.

Notes

Preheat your pizza stone for a crispy crust. Use high-quality burrata and prosciutto for the best flavor. Drizzle honey sparingly to balance sweetness.
