A quick and easy dessert featuring thinly sliced crisp apples layered with caramel sauce, white chocolate drizzle, and crunchy toffee bits. Perfect for casual gatherings or last-minute parties.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 large crisp apples (Granny Smith, Fuji, or Honeycrisp)
  • ½ cup caramel sauce (store-bought or homemade)
  • 4 ounces white chocolate chips or chopped white chocolate
  • ½ cup crunchy toffee bits (like Heath or homemade crumbled toffee)
  • Optional toppings: chopped nuts (pecans or walnuts), mini chocolate chips, pinch of flaky sea salt, sprinkles or cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Rinse and dry the apples thoroughly. Using a sharp knife, slice them into thin, even rounds about ⅛ inch (3 mm) thick. Remove any seeds.
  2. Spread the apple slices out in a single layer on your serving platter, slightly overlapping like a colorful fan.
  3. Warm the caramel sauce slightly in the microwave for 15-20 seconds until pourable but not hot. Drizzle generously over the apple slices.
  4. Melt the white chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl in 20-second bursts, stirring in between until smooth and creamy, or use a double boiler. Drizzle the melted white chocolate over the caramel-layered apples in a zigzag pattern.
  5. Sprinkle the toffee bits evenly over the top. Add optional toppings like chopped nuts, mini chocolate chips, or a pinch of sea salt. Serve immediately.

Notes

Serve immediately for best texture as apples soften and toffee loses crunch if left out too long. For dairy-free, use dairy-free white chocolate and caramel sauce. Optional sprinkle of cinnamon or nutmeg adds warm flavor. Store apple slices and toppings separately if making ahead, then assemble before serving.
