Warm, melty brie, sweet cranberry sauce, and tender turkey layered on soft Hawaiian rolls and baked with a garlic butter glaze. These sliders are the perfect way to use up holiday leftovers or serve a crowd-pleasing appetizer in just 20 minutes.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package (12-count) Hawaiian sweet rolls
  • 1 pound cooked turkey, shredded or sliced
  • 8 ounces brie cheese, rind removed and sliced
  • 1/2 cup whole berry cranberry sauce
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon poppy seeds or sesame seeds (optional)
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with nonstick cooking spray or butter.
  2. Without separating the individual rolls, slice the entire block of Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally. Place the bottom half in the prepared baking dish.
  3. Evenly distribute the shredded or sliced turkey over the bottom layer of rolls, about 1/4 inch thick.
  4. Spoon the cranberry sauce over the turkey and spread gently. If the sauce is too thick, microwave for 10 seconds to loosen.
  5. Arrange the brie slices evenly over the cranberry sauce, covering as much surface area as possible.
  6. Place the top half of the rolls over the filling, pressing down gently.
  7. In a small bowl, whisk together melted butter, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, and onion powder. Brush this mixture generously over the tops of the rolls.
  8. If using, sprinkle poppy seeds or sesame seeds over the buttered tops.
  9. Cover the dish loosely with aluminum foil and bake for 15 minutes. Remove foil and bake for another 5–7 minutes, until tops are golden brown and cheese is bubbly.
  10. Let the sliders rest in the dish for 5 minutes before serving to allow the cheese to set.

Notes

Line the baking dish with parchment paper for easy lifting and cleanup. For extra-crispy tops, broil for 1–2 minutes after baking, watching closely to avoid burning. Use day-old rolls for better texture. Warm cranberry sauce slightly before spreading to prevent cooling the sliders.
