A quick and easy 12-minute air fryer recipe for crispy pork chops topped with vibrant chimichurri sauce, perfect for weeknight dinners.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless pork chops, about 1-inch thick
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil, for brushing
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika (smoked paprika preferred)
  • ½ cup chimichurri sauce (store-bought or homemade)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (205°C) for about 5 minutes.
  2. Pat the pork chops dry with paper towels.
  3. Brush both sides of each pork chop with olive oil.
  4. Sprinkle salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika evenly on both sides.
  5. Place the pork chops in the air fryer basket in a single layer without overlapping.
  6. Cook for 6 minutes, then carefully flip the chops and cook for another 5-6 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C).
  7. Remove the pork chops and let them rest on a plate for about 3 minutes.
  8. Serve topped with a generous spoonful of chimichurri sauce.

Notes

Patting the pork chops dry before seasoning is key to achieving a crispy crust. Avoid overcrowding the air fryer basket to ensure even cooking. Use a meat thermometer to check for doneness at 145°F (63°C). Let the pork chops rest after cooking to keep them juicy. Rotate the basket halfway through cooking if your air fryer cooks unevenly. For bone-in pork chops, add 1-2 minutes to cooking time.
