A refreshing and sophisticated cocktail combining Limoncello, Prosecco, and fresh rosemary. This simple yet elegant spritz is perfect for summer evenings and requires only a few minutes to prepare.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1.5 oz Limoncello (preferably Sorrento or Capri)
  • 3–4 oz Brut or Extra Dry Prosecco
  • 1–2 oz Soda Water
  • 1 sprig Fresh Rosemary
  • Ice cubes (large preferred)
  • Lemon wheels for garnish

Instructions

  1. Take a fresh rosemary sprig and hold it in your palm, then give it a firm slap against your hand to release the essential oils.
  2. Fill a highball glass with ice cubes, packing them in tightly to keep the drink cold.
  3. Pour 1.5 ounces of Limoncello over the ice.
  4. Slowly pour 3-4 ounces of chilled Prosecco over the ice to preserve the bubbles.
  5. Top with 1-2 ounces of soda water.
  6. Drop the slapped rosemary sprig into the glass and add a slice of lemon for garnish.
  7. Gently stir once or twice with a bar spoon to mix without losing carbonation.
  8. Serve immediately while cold and bubbly.

Notes

Ensure all ingredients are chilled before mixing to prevent rapid ice melt. Slapping the rosemary is crucial for releasing aroma. Do not over-stir to maintain carbonation. For a non-alcoholic version, swap Prosecco for extra soda water and add lemon juice.
