This Easy Candy Corn Bark with White Chocolate and Pretzels is a quick, salty-sweet treat perfect for Halloween and fall parties. Made with simple ingredients, it combines creamy white chocolate, crunchy pretzels, and chewy candy corn for an irresistible crowd-pleaser.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 oz (340 g) white chocolate chips or melting wafers
  • 1 cup (200 g) candy corn
  • 1 cup (100 g) mini pretzel twists or pretzel sticks, crushed
  • 1 teaspoon vegetable oil or coconut oil (optional)
  • Sprinkles, sea salt flakes, or additional crushed pretzels for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Line a half-sheet pan with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat. Set aside.
  2. Place the pretzels in a ziploc bag and crush them with a rolling pin or the bottom of a heavy skillet until you have a mix of small pieces and a few larger chunks (about 1/4-inch pieces). Measure out 1 cup of crushed pretzels and set aside.
  3. Place the white chocolate chips in a medium microwave-safe bowl. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring well after each interval, until the chocolate is completely smooth and melted (about 2–3 minutes total). If the chocolate looks too thick, stir in 1 teaspoon of vegetable oil or coconut oil.
  4. Reserve about 1/4 cup of candy corn and 2 tablespoons of crushed pretzels for topping. Gently fold the remaining candy corn and crushed pretzels into the melted white chocolate until evenly distributed.
  5. Pour the chocolate mixture onto the prepared baking sheet. Use a spatula to spread it into an even layer, about 1/4-inch thick.
  6. While the chocolate is still wet, sprinkle the reserved candy corn and crushed pretzels over the top. Press them in gently with your fingers. Add sprinkles or sea salt flakes if desired.
  7. Place the baking sheet in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, or until the chocolate is completely firm. For faster setting, freeze for 15 minutes.
  8. Once set, lift the parchment paper off the baking sheet. Break the bark into irregular pieces with your hands or cut into clean squares with a sharp knife. Store in an airtight container.

Notes

White chocolate is sensitive to heat and moisture; use a dry bowl and microwave in short intervals to prevent seizing. Crush pretzels to pea-sized pieces for best texture. Work quickly after mixing to prevent candy corn from bleeding color. For best results, set in the refrigerator, not at room temperature. This bark freezes well for up to 3 months.
