A festive and healthy Halloween fruit platter arranged to look like candy corn, served with a creamy yogurt dip. Quick to assemble and perfect for fall gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 medium fresh pineapple, peeled and cut into triangular chunks
  • 4–5 clementines or mandarin oranges, peeled and separated into segments
  • 2 bananas, sliced into rounds
  • 1/2 cup fresh coconut flakes (optional)
  • 1/2 cup white cheese cubes (optional, mild mozzarella or white cheddar)
  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Zest of 1 clementine
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Make the yogurt dip: In a small mixing bowl, combine 1 cup Greek yogurt, 2 tablespoons honey, 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract, zest of one clementine, and a pinch of salt. Whisk until smooth and creamy. Cover and refrigerate while you prep the fruit.
  2. Prep the pineapple: Cut off the top and bottom of the pineapple. Stand it upright and slice off the skin in strips. Cut out any remaining eyes. Slice the pineapple into rounds about 1/2-inch thick, then cut each round into triangular chunks about 1.5 inches tall.
  3. Prep the oranges: Peel the clementines and separate them into individual segments, keeping them intact.
  4. Prep the bananas: Slice the bananas into rounds about 1/2-inch thick. If using coconut flakes, have them ready in a small bowl.
  5. Assemble the candy corn rows: On a white platter, start at the bottom edge and arrange a row of pineapple triangles with the wide end facing down. Above that, create a row of clementine segments, also with the wide end down. Top with a row of banana slices or a sprinkle of coconut flakes.
  6. Repeat and fill: Continue building rows until the platter is covered. For a large gathering, do three or four full rows. For a smaller group, two rows with a bowl of dip in the center works well.
  7. Add the dip and serve: Place the bowl of yogurt dip in the center or off to one side. Garnish with extra orange zest curls or a drizzle of honey. Serve immediately or refrigerate for up to 2 hours before serving.

Notes

For best results, use fresh pineapple rather than canned. Brush banana slices with lemon or pineapple juice to prevent browning. Make the dip at least 30 minutes ahead to let flavors meld. Store leftovers separately: fruit up to 24 hours, dip up to 3 days.
