Rich and gooey brownies packed with the crunch of Oreos, offering the perfect balance of fudginess and texture.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs, room temperature
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup Oreos, crushed into chunks (reserve some for topping)
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper, leaving some overhang for easy removal.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the melted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth and creamy.
  3. Add the eggs and vanilla extract, and whisk until the mixture is thick and glossy.
  4. In a separate bowl, sift together the flour, cocoa powder, and salt.
  5. Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture using a spatula, being careful not to overmix.
  6. Gently fold in the crushed Oreos and chocolate chips (if using), reserving some Oreos for the topping.
  7. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread it evenly. Sprinkle the reserved Oreos on top.
  8. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  9. Let the brownies cool completely in the pan before lifting them out using the parchment paper overhang. Slice into squares and enjoy!
